Baptism / Christening services are celebrated here at Stourport Wesley for all ages. Baptism marks entry into the Church and if you would like to have your baby or child baptised then please speak to our minister Sue. She will meet with you to talk about arranging a service and the meaning of baptism for your child. It is a joy to celebrate these important occasions in family life and to recognise and mark the role of the Church in supporting and encouraging families.
We also have thanksgiving services for families who wish to celebrate the arrival of a new baby or child into their family (this can be following birth or adoption) and Rev Sue will be happy to discuss this with you.
Baptism for Adults
Baptism is offered to all, and if you would like to be baptised as an adult and have not been previously baptised as a child then please speak to Rev Sue who would be delighted to discuss this important step of faith with you.
There is no cost for Baptism services.
